Before you start stuffing boxes, make sure they’re put together the right way. A few small packing tips can save you from wrestling with cardboard—and waking up sore the next day.
1. Keep Box Flaps Out of the Way (And Avoid Battle Scars)
Before opening the box, bend the top flaps down
Flip it upright, tape the bottom flaps shut, and enjoy packing without cardboard constantly cutting your arms.
Before sealing the box, just tug a side flap and enjoy the oddly satisfying pop.
2. Use a Box as a Packing Surface (Your Back Will Thank You)
Set up one box and use it as a table for the next one.
No more crouching like a raccoon digging through a trash can.
